These are from the shoot i did on the roof of my uni house only i shot these on 120 film.. i like to shoot on both digital and film sometimes.. you just can not beat the texture of film!!

This image shows Marnie stealing money from a company safe.

This image is to show Marnies personality.. she is very sneaky but also very alert.. she uses her charm and good looks to pull of her thieving.

This image is of Marnie when she sees red.. she go's crazy when she sees the color red because it reminds her of the blood she seen when she was a little girl after beating a man to death who was trying to kill her mum.

Here are my 3 Hitchcock style images i shot for my uni brief.. The brief was to recreate a scene from a chosen Hitchcock film into 3 images.. the film i chose to recreate my images on was Marnie which is a film based on a mysterious lady who steals money from banks and companies. she is portrayed as strange and possibly mental until the end.. where it is revealed that she murdered someone as a child to save her mothers life. her strange phases turn out to be flash backs of her life.

I shot this series on the roof of my uni house using 1 modeling light.. using the shadows to create a mysterious atmosphere to almost make my model feel like she is not alone but accompanied by the night.

I shot these images on the beach down on the devon coast at 8am.. i shot the images on 120 film..

Here is a editorial shoot i shot on the coast of devon at 7am on a sunday morning with my model becky.. as nice and warm as it looks it was freezing.. I shot these images on digital and wanted to capture the beauty of the morning sun which was rising from over the seas horizon.. i also wanted to capture the movement of the clothing and hair in the wind to give the image a fresh look.

This is my new Nixon Time Teller watch which i wanted to photograph.. Make-up was models own.. necklace was mens H&M and dress American Apparel.. i enjoy playing with movement so i incorporated this into the images.

Shorts Top Shop

I shot these images on a field near me where we used to play hide and seek when we were younger.. one evening i drove up to the field with my model and ram skull which i borrowed from my friend alex.. I sat and waited till the sun dropped into the perfect position behind the trees so i could capture the lighting just piercing through behind my model.

When i got to the location i noticed a massive change from the previous time i visited the field which was 2 days previous.. the haystacks had been removed which i planned on photographing my model on.. this did not put me off i just changed my plan and shot on the cut wheat grass instead.

I sent these images into the young fashion photographer award 2009 where i came in a sweet second.

Here is some work i photographed in college.. i thought i had lost this work when i lost my memory stick but i fount them on a Cd i had.. i enjoy shooting still life objects when i get the chance to.. these i shot as personal work and fount it good fun experimenting with different reflective surfaces and lighting.

Mel bles fashion photographer. Gave us a interesting talk about her work and a little insight into the industry. She was very inspirational.

When i was younger i was fascinated in planes.. mostly spitfires.. every time i went to the corner shop i used to buy these polystyrene airplanes which u build together and throw through the air.. In these images i just wanted to show the fun and fascination i had with these planes.

The images were shot slightly out of focus to give them a soft feel.. and the clothing is a vintage style which are the models own
